Award winning polo 6n sprayed lido green

Featured Replies

Hello, unfortunately the time has come to sell my much loved polo 6n that I have owned for nearly 5 years and almost drove for 4 years and still find it fun to drive.

So when I bought it, it was matte orange, so in my ownership a lot of things have changed

124000 roughly used as daily car

Mot till August

Tax till june

Bodywork:

Resprayed in lido green (official Volkswagen colour)

Rear arches pulled and flared

Front wings flared and smoothed side repeaters

Smoothed 8vavle front bumper

Badge smoothed of boot lid

Aerial smoothed of roof

Roof is sprayed purple with a pattern in it not seen out like it before

Door handle recesses smoothed

16valve rear bumper

6n2 git splitter

8valve front dog lights

6k hid front light upgrade

Dubflecta wind deflectors

Chassis:

16valve front brake conversion

Green stuff pads up front

Drilled and groved vented discs

Coilovers all round

Powerflex rear axle bushes

Stefan bcw wheels

Fronts 14x8 with new tryes ( geting fitted this week)

Rears 14x9 with new tyres fitted 2 weeks ago

Engine:

4.2.1 manifold

Induction kit

Cold air feed

Stainless exhaust system throughout with decat pipe, so c.a.t can be removed for straight through pipe.

Cherry bomb back box 2.5inch exit

Uprated ht leads

Interior:

Golf vr6 high line leather seats

Dashboard and door cards covered in marvel comic strip

Armrest

300mm steering wheel

6n2 cup holder built in

8ball gear knob

I.C.E:

Rip speed headunit with flip out screen

Uprated 6.5 door speakers

Uprated 3.5 dash speakers

The car has been well looked after in my years of ownership and sad to see it go, but commitments mean it's got to go.

The car has had a reconditioned gearbox on, but no proof of this, in last 6 months the car has had:

New clutch

Oil change

Spark plugs changed

Oil filter changed

Fuel filter changed

Dizzy cap and arm changed

Timing belt and waterpump changed

So the car has been well looked after, and has never let me down

Bad points

Slight rust coming through on rear arches, slight patch on corner of bootlid and little bit coming through on sill joins

Dent in passenger side door

Front passenger wheel slight curbing

Could benifit from new handbrake cable

Will get pictures of bad points but overall the car looks really well and always gets attention at shows and just on the road.

Won car of the show at Cumbria vag 2012

ATM the back of the car has been boarded out so no rear seats in ATM but will put rear seats in if that is better for next owner.

Loads of old receipts, M.O.T certificates go as far back as 2001 old tax discs and other bits

Also will include a set of tsw venoms with 2 legal tyres and 2 not, and loads of spares

Car is located in Cumbria so out the way so if any intrest I will travel to help people out

Looking 1800ono as the car stands with wheels and private plate p90 loc

Will be able to lower price without wheels and number plate

Any questions don't hesitate to ask, as is have probaly missed bits.
