just got my first polo

Hello, This is my first polo, I've had 2 VW Golfs I'm the past and got this polo to drive for a year whilst in my final year at uni, and then to get something faster next year.

I bought the car as it is, not got many plans as it is already stanced on coilovers, mini superlites 13", gti front bumper, gti xenon's, and a decat power flow exhaust (which isn't at all loud, maybe seller lied about decat?)

Hopefully I want to raise the height a little as its a nightmare to drive on London roads, even the slightest imperfection in the road makes the bottom scrape, its that low on 13inch wheels. I'm going to take the wheels off and put BBS RS's or BBS RA's on it.

The car does have a few issues which I hope to get sorted, any advise or help would be appreciated,

Firstly the xenon beam is too low, the cut off line is like 3 metres on the road. Could I put brighter bulbs in the xenon's??

Another issue is that the engine light is on, seller said it was due to the decat, and it seems to be drinking petrol, but then once I turn the car off the fuel needle goes up again.
