  • I'd say the original pontiac ones. But if they're expensive the money would be better spent on other things.

  • That head unit looks pretty.

so the long awaited flocked interior was picked up the other day and fitted today. swell as picking up the flocked dashboard, i dropped some more items to be flocked, but not saying what haha. also fitted my single wiper conversion. can't wait to get my mono team 280mm steering wheel on, still waiting for my airbag boss tho. still cleaning all the air vents and trim around the clocks before it goes back in. please ignore the mess haha. still got a long way to go with my plan for the centre console. got a lot of work to get that finished. enough of me talking, ill let the pictures do the talking. enjoy :)

Been busy recently with poloflock. Got the clocks and momo team steering wheel and air vents went back in. Also got the tyres swapped to 165/45/15 on the pontiac's, but unfortunately on the last one the machine cough the lip of the rim but what can you do, so being send off to be repaired and then take two on the tyre fitting. But did a test fit on the rear. Cant wait to get them all on now. Need to roll and maybe flaire the arches but still looks so sick. So happy with this test fit. But ill let the photos do the talking.

So I've kept this quite because i wanted to make sure it worked first but here is my centre console after over a week of plastic welding, filling, smoothing, sanding but so stoked on the progress so far.

Smoothed off the cigarette lighter, all four buttons on the too right as I'm moving the hazard and rear heater window button to somewhere else (stay turned to find out where) and then working out the double headunit housing. All smoothed and ready for primer tomorrow and then send off to be finished by my good friends at thomas and vine flocking.

Also started to sounddeaden they rear pannels, still got a lot left to do.

Cant wait to get the centre console back and get the headunit fitted permanently

Its been a while since I've updated you polo fans, but i have been busy to say the least. So after having the drive to myself for a change as my mum and sister where out, i pull it out and used the whole drive for a wash. Still love this colour. All cleaned and polished and added the wheelwhores windscreen sticker, it would be most appropriate when the pontiac's are on. Still not got the wheels back from the repairs. Just wanna put them on.

But the main thing i have been working on for a while is the boot build. After getting the parcel shelf and supports back from Thomas and vines, once again killed it with the flocking. And also receiving my sub and amp from caraudiocentre. Juice 12" sub and juice 2 channel amp. So after raising the floor and sealing and drawing up the shape of the floor (which was a nightmare) here is the finished result and couldn't be more stoked with the outcome. Also carpeted the backs of my seats so match the floor and i think it works really well.

After a lot of filling, sanding and flocking, the dashboard is finished. The centre console all finished, in and looking fresh. So removed all of the buttons on the right hand side, and in the process of relocating them and hiding them. Smoothed off the two blanks kn the electric window pannel. Smoothed off the cigarette lighter and converted the ashtray to an ipod dock and so halpy with how it turned out. And also, the double din touch screen headunit. So happy with my centre console.

Ill let the photos do the talking

Headunit is all turned with the mtx speakers and juice amp and sub, and the sound quality and bass is insane.

it has crossed my mind about flocking an iPod to match the car haha

cheers dude, they are being located to the bottom of the glove box under the steering wheel. where the flat bottom is the perfect size for the buttons, so the hazard light and rear heater window buttons are going down there. the two top air vents slide out with a bit of wiggling and then there is two screws, one on each size, and then you need to remove the centre console around the gear stick so release the bottom of the trim and then all you need to do take out the head unit, electric window switches and heater controls and then it can come out.

Like what you've done so far, dash looks fresh mate especially the console, and get those pontiacs and centre caps on lol.. :)

cheers dude, stoked on how it looks atm. the arches are being sorted out on tuesday and then the camber and wheels can go on. can't wait to get them on

Got the fronts sitting excatlly how i want them to. Just been to sort out the camber on the rear and then drop the rear down some more and then the ride height is sorted. So stoked. So glad i brought te pontiac centre caps. Finishes off the wheels so much better.

Only a small update on this sunny day. so i got my door cards back yesterday and i couldn't be happier with out they have turned out. thomas and vine has once again gone an outstanding job with the flocking. So fitted them up and also got the fourth wheel back from BJV engineering. was repairing it after trying to fit the tyre, the machine slipped and took a chunk out the lip. so got that back and had the tyre fitted again with no issues this time.

so after fitting the door cards and the last wheel, gave it a good clean and polish and thought id take come photos on my camera as it stands atm. not much left to do now. just need to send my bumpers off to be smoothed and resprayed and then camber the rear and lower some more. need to notch the front before i can drop it a little more. i am really struggling with seats swell. not sure what to go for?

anyone got any ideas?

sorry for the mass of photos but, here is how p-flock stands atm:

am going to change the interior door handle and wing mirror trim back to just black plastic. think it looks a bit strange with the tartan on the door cards. looks much better all black and grey.

all comments welcome :)

cheers dude, camber on the rear tomorrow. yeah got some 16v bumpers being sent off to the body shop for smoothing. and seats, loads of people use recurs, and don't get me wrong, they are sick seats but i wouldn't mind seeing what else wis out there as there are a lot of things in this car that rant normally done :) haha yeah thats coming off tomorrow

I reckon a set recaro fish nets would mint out of a glanza haven't seen them in polo ha

How much was it to flock the dash and door cards?

Golf gti mk4 recaro seats would look nice, can get black and grey ones to match the flocking. Just need to modify the front mount or seat runner rail.

I reckon a set recaro fish nets would mint out of a glanza haven't seen them in polo ha

Agreed, plus ther uber comfy (most inportant factor) change the netting to blue?

Dont have to cone out of a glanza either.
