Featured Replies

Hey guys my names Ian and I live in Derby, after a lot of thought I finally went out and bought my first VW classic! I spotted a MK2 polo saloon on ebay about 3 weeks ago and I had to have it. Here are a few pics to start with ......

  • My old car! Seen it last year at vw fest in the camping area, I regret selling it!

  • Amazing condition. I have an '86 in Polar Silver, completely stock with a 1040 cc engine. It is also great condition, gets shown occasionally in the South Wales Classic but is not as good as yours. Ha

Hey guys, I'm keeping it as clean as possible and popping some wheels on it, possibly minilites (13x6) but insure if they'll look right!? Thanks for the comments :)

Really tidy, Enjoy!

mine is rubbish in comparison.

Has taken me nearly 2 years to get the auto choke Pierburg sorted but is running like a dream now. Keep it stock if you can and be proud of it. According to the DVLC register there are only 46 of these left in the UK and 21 of these are SORNed. It's a rare car. You get far more looks and comments than if modded and easier to sell on. Also very cheap insurance!

I've been thinking recently about what I'm going to do with this car and it is staying completely standard apart from it being lowered (which it is now) I'm currently struggling as I've been back 3 times to the garage to get the manifold looked at as it's leaking at the joint! Doing my head in! Been trying to source a new manifold but I'm struggling!

I have the same colour wish mine was that clean! What are you choosing to lower it with?
