Anyone?

I'm pretty sure they will do mate, the only thing you might have to do is put the estates top mounts on

Yeah 6n/ 6n2 coilovers do fit as I have them in mine. But u can't get the front real low. I have mine right down and won't go as low as a 6n/6n2 will. Also the sump sits stupid low on them. After busting mine 5 times I now have the engine raised and a shallow steel bottom sump fitted

Hi, I have a 1999 TDI estate and i have fitted it with coilovers. I fitted the Weitec Gt kit as it specifies the same one for the 6N as the 6KV and also i still wanted a reasonable ride and to improve the handling. I am also running a larger wheel with a 195/50 x 16 tyre so have not gone too low as the wheels would touch the arch on bumps. The coilovers are set close to the maximum height to avoid Mattys problems above the drop is probably about 60 mm. The only problem with the Weitec coilovers is they are expensive but i have done about 40k miles without any problems and give a better ride than the cheaper ones. if you need more info or what some photos let me know.

Any pics of your estate gary?

Thanks for your comments guys, really appreciate it. Coilovers arrived yesterday, I've gone for pro sport as I had them on my t4 and had no issues with them. Gonna fit them today so I'll get some pictures up.

I have prosports in mine and am taking them out for ta technic. The prosports didn't last that long have only been in 2/3 years and there bust alredy

I fitted mine yesterday, I must admit the rears was a pain to fit, there was a long sleeve fitted at the top of the shock which was removed and replaced with the original short sleeve otherwise it wouldn't show enough thread at the top of the mount and the other thing was the front wheels 16x8 et35 was rubbing on the shock so I now need 10mm spacers to clear . Ride is a bit harsh but I know that's what you get for buying cheaper ones.

Looks well. I just took my supersports not prosports out and fitted the ta technics. The supersports were a bumpy ride but I did have them wound right down. I have it raised on the ta technics Because its for mot next week that's why I had to get new 1s. I'll let u no what ride is like wen I lower it again. I have 15x7s et 13 so no prob wif the wheels hitting the strut

That's the way mine sat on the supersports wound right down. I think the ta technix will be lower. The supersports were for a 6n polo so at he top they had a cup for the top mount to sit on. The ta technix are for a 6n2 so the spring wos wider and sat straight on the top mount so should should sit lower
