Hi guys I'm turning 17 soon and have got myself a 1.4 16v 6n2 5 door.

It's in silver and has a few scuffs around the edges but nothing major and is a good all rounder.

I've started to so slight mods that anyone can do such as

-tinting repeaters and rear lights.

-engine bay spraying.

-debadging.

I decided to spray the grill and badge black as I'm getting some Bbs ra 15" wheels that are currently in the post and also a new RAM air filter. Also have some front wind deflectors in the post at the moment.

I've got a ripspeed 4" outlet jap style exhaust waiting to go on but that is all.

I could do with some advice and ideas but as I'm a student the cash is slow so this thread will be slightly slow but with all your help I would find it very helpful guys and girls.

Pictures are playing up on this iPad so any help with that as well would be appreciated hahaha.

Hey bud, looks like a great base car. Wish I'd held out for a 16v when I bought mine.

Would be interested to see some pics of the ramair when fitted, been thinking about/one for mine!

Yeah man I got her for £350 so an absolute steal with only one suspension spring needing replaced!

I will mate, it's coming this week at some point hopefully and I will get it fitted and put up a picture:)

Just got some new Bbs 15" alloys complete with a set of tires that seem to have been thoroughly burnt out on hahaha so gonna save up and get some stretch on there, refurbed the alloys and now they're almost done and they're looking very black.

The alloys have been fitted, they were originally silver but I needed a black set on this silver car haha;) I wasn't too worried about spray on the tires as they are bald and I am gonna get some stretch tires on there I think. Splashed out quite a fair bit for these wheels so need to do some saving before my next ideas...l

I'm thinking lowering next, need cheap ideas for that.

Yeah it was mate but this is one I bought, the first one I sprayed but looked a bit buttoney and I didn't like I but this one is carbon fibre and black vw badge on top...can't see it close up but it's pretty sweet, ebay for £15 haha
