Just got myself a polo r line

1.2 tsi engine producing 105 ponies

- wanting to make this a real looker, thinking of fitting some rotiform BLQ and slamming her!

Engine mods will be done by my local vw specialists- revo remap, silicon piping ect..

If anyone has had the joy of engine mods on these, I'd really like to know how your car runs!

Slow progress due to not knowing what suspension to fit!!😵

Anyway- got myself some yellow lamin-x on the fogs! Really taken a shine to the blue motion grill- if anyone knows of one for sale I'd be gratefull(:

Coilovers, springs or hold out for air or maybe even hydros.

I'd like coilovers like I've had on all my other cars; I just don't think it's sensible on a new car. Then again is a 60mm spring drop going to be enough?

Or I could go coilovers and a static+ system but I'm insure how they make the car handle and ride.

So that's where I'm unsure.

I've decided to go for h&r 35mm + 55mm springs, getting delivered tomorrow so pictures to follow 😆👌

Just a little intro i am new to these forums and hoping to get some bright ideas lol.

Also congrats on the R line looks stunning!.

I would also like to show you mine i got it in 4 door. Done a few things such as Hid conversion, changed all my bulbs including fogs to 85w ice white bulbs from ebay.

I changed all my interior bulbs to white LEDs. Last but not least the all around tints!.

I was speaking to someone in regards to the Vagcom.. Been told that with a little bit of tweaking around i could unlock my car and lights would come on etc. Does anyone have any idea or past experience?

Take a look at the picture and please feel free to give ideas on what else could be done to the car!

Some more pictures the picture in the dark only has my side light bulbs on which are bright white but for some reason look blue!

The before and after picture is the one where i had the fog lights changed it looked horrible before having Hid xenons and cornering lights turn on to halogen.

First off, thanks for the appreciation

I advise springs personally, I've owned all my cars with coilovers and since fitting my springs on the 6r I personally won't go back, the handling is immense and I managed 6th place at USC handling course beating most of the big cars😬

It also sits perfect with the wheels and tyres on the r-line polo, next to no arch gap.

Also I'd personally advise maybe spacing out the rear if you don't want to change the wheels👍

I've stuck the lamin-x on my fogs and changed my headlights to Phillips diamond vision, and pressed plates. And maybe a couple of stickers(;

H&r 35mm fronts and 55mm rears, springs were £170 and £80 fitting.

As far as I'm aware, just suspension warranty is void; as is any problems that can be caused my lowering a car, eg: driveshafts ect.

It's very smooth and nippy, it's electronic power steering so there is barely any feel to the steering:/ not as quick as I was wanting but it's not bad; fuel economy is shocking! £60 will get you 270 miles:L unless you drive like miss daisy and you may get 350. Apart from that it's a decent little car!

I have a local vw tuner that deal with revo so I'll see if they have a map.

I'm getting my exhaust system next week, it's being made by a local company, and I'm getting the vwr induction kit
