Polo 6r hid kit fitting help?

I've been on the FAQ and through the threads on here and haven't found the answer!:/

I've got h7 hi-low 8k hid kit- I can't seem to see how to mount them inside the headlight unit due to the fact that the metal clip used to hold the light in can't go on the back of the hid bulb- just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction, or if someone has had this issue.
