not sure how much interest this will get here as its not a polo but it is my baby..

so here goes..

I did have a silver FWD avant that I had been starting to get it to how I wanted

I had been doing a facelift conversion on it..

It was remaped to 147bhp and 295nm of torque so she went well

I had the 1/2 leather from the 1.8qts fitted

so come January this year I got the chance of a standard 1.9tdi quattro avant at sensible money..

I had always wanted the quattro and it had to be the 1.9tdi avant!!

so I didint need offered it twice..

when I got it it was still on the P/O private reg but he let me take it away

so after getting it home and deciding to break the silver car ( it was worth more in parts IMO )

I started working through the quattro's niggles.

2 rear springs and shockies and a rear wheel bearing she got a clean bill of health for a year

within days of this my youngest was taken into hospital for a major spinal operation so things got put on hold till he had recovered.

wind deflectors went on.

I got chance of PFL S4 xenons so I then decided that the quattro wasnt getting the facelift treatment

I've since bought an S4 front bumper ( I've already got the side skirts )

they all need painted but I'm still wanting to pick up a good set of front wings before I get stuff painted.

so after buying the polo spare cash is tight and the 16's needed 2 tyres so i decided to stik the 17's on. they need refurbished but I think they suit the quattro so much better than the silver avant

few interior pics of my 1/2 leather.. not got round to fitting it yet but can see it going in very soon.

as it stands at the moment its running the remapped ecu and responds so much better than the old FWD ever did.

future plans are...

get the body tidied up and the bumpers and skirts painted and fitted.

130bhp PD inlet manifold and turbo

bigger nozzles

source and fit 11mm diesel pump

fit my decat pipe and get a custom S/S system made up.

fit my s4 front uprights and brakes or do a 312mm conversion

once I've got the body and mechanical side the way I want it my plans are to get a 30mm eibach kit

I Know she needs tlc and is far from tidy but when I look at the way it was when I got it to the way it is now I'm happy.

plus I need to remember.. there was only ever 500 odd 1.9tdi quattros brought into the uk!! so its a rare car.

I've changed doors as everyone was bent..

I've replaced most of the suspension.

serviced it.

cleaned the turbo and inlet manifold.

plus more..
