Are 6R Speakers Worth Upgrading?

Hi,

I have just recently bought a 6R Match Spec Polo and I am new to this forum. I was wondering if the stock speakers are worth upgrading based on sound quality alone? I do like a clean baseline but I don't fancy getting a sub or anything yet. Would upgrading to composite door speakers such as focals give me enough mid/lows to not need a sub or would a sub be needed?
