'91 GT Breadvan daily/project thing while I get on and turbo my metro

Ever since I had my previous NZ breadvan I'd always wanted a gt breadvan, and after taking the metro off the road for the turbo/track/autotest build I needed another car.. unfortunately a gt bready is fairly hard to come by compared to the coupe. But it my uncle had one that'd been in the family for years, and I bought it for just £290 and gently drove it the 160 miles home.. which was a little worrying as it had an OEM cambelt and alternator belt at 104k!

Upon getting the little beast home she was.. neglected, but I was happy I finally had the car I wanted.

I really haven't got time to list all the photos I have from what's been done.. but I'll throw in a couple. List of things done so far!

- Distributor, cap and arm

- Painted cam cover

- Painted rad shelf with Polo GT decal

- Resprayed n/s door bottom

- lowered 60/40 on shocks and springs

- new track rod end n/s

- Poly outer TCA bushes

- new wheel bearing o/s/r

- LED interior light

- 2x12" MTX subs in custom box with 2000w amp and LPF

- Cheap philips headunit with ipod dock

- Kicker front 3.5" speakers

- Black corrado front seats

- aero blades on the front

- new number plates

- painted steel wheels

- straight through centre exhaust section

- Cherry bomb backbox

- custom MAF adapter with cone filter

- Oil change, oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, ht leads

- new headlight switch and drivers side vent

- "profesionally engineered" repair to window lifter passenger side

- remote central locking

- electric aerial

- replacement 'shift finger'

- new handbrake adjuster springs

- de-bump strip (leaving banana trims)

- richbrook tax disc holder

- lots of polish and t-cut and wax and love

- new cambelt, water pump and alternator belt

- painted black parcel shelf (shh!)

- replaced rear wiper motor and arm

and probably loads more! Got coilovers and 4-2-1 tubular decat mani on the cards next along with some new wheels.
