We have had this car within the family from brand new having bought it for my cousin originally in 1999.. However..I am now selling it as spares or repairs as my sister no longer needs it as she has upgraded herself to a Leon tdi. As you can see from the pictures, it has had a rough time over the last 3 years or so and the following will need seeing to cosmetic wise: Bonnet Bumper (don't ask!) Passenger wing mirror casing Passenger door (don't ask!) Interior wise, it needs new seat handles to pull the seats forward, a wing mirror adjuster switch as the original one is broken. It could also do with a very good clean as my sister's ex used it for work for a short time and the boot area has some paint streaks around it (he was a painter/decorator) Airbag light on intermittently.. ( had car scanned with vagcom and it points to passenger seat-common issue I've been told) Engine wise, a few little knocks and creaks which could be a cv issue or top mounts but apart from that, I think that's it. It was serviced last year by myself where I changed discs, pads and a lambda sensor..it also had a new exhaust fitted 2 years ago.. This car is ideal for the beginner driver who wants to put a bit of time and effort into this car to get it looking good once again..or that young Vw enthusiast who wants a little project for the shows. I have done half the work already looks wise by lowering it as it was cheaper to buy a full lowering kit as opposed to buying a single oem spring as the original one was broken. The alloys could do with a refurb but that is all... Collection only, North London. Viewing is viable, but evenings only. Car can drive with trade plates obviously as it's got no MOT on it at the mo... Failing that..can deliver for extra fuel cost with A FRAME..
