3 owners from new. originally a leicester car from new still have o.e dealer plates.. if any leicester peeps remember dover street vw audi garage

1.8 petrol. 4+ e manual box (which is a 5 speed) has shift up economy light on dash

has been my dailly car for the best part of 2 and a bit years an a pleasure at that.. soo much of a pleasure i originally intended just to use the car over the winter months of 2012 an I've been in it ever since.. starts up 1st time every time regardless of the weather conditions outside and when those weather conditions are bad crank the heater up one notch an it will melt your face off..

i did have a lot plans for it.. to drop it, wheels etc etc but as there gettin harder an harder to find i really didnt want to ruin it.

recently had an full engine service including timing belt change. full new exhaust system. new clucth..

pleasure to drive an a real motorway cruiser

bad points.. slight rust spots allong bottom edge of drivers door and wing (hasnt gone through yet). few age related scratches.. diff whines at around 50 to 60 mph then clears up at 70. could possibly need fresh gearbox oil. carb could do with setting up as it idles just a tad hi an over runs every now an again when switching off.
