Vento ABF 16v. 65k T&T.

Featured Replies

Decided i need to own an e30, and i'm happy with this now, can close the 'vento' door in my life!

I bought it off a guy that basically used it to go to the shops and do two trips to cornwall a year, the lady before him didn't drive it much at all!
I've not long finished the ABF conversion and without blowing my own trumpet it's one of the best conversions i've done or been a part of, completely OEM install and looks/ feels like it was there from factory! Drives without fault!

Vento 1.8 8v on log book (up to the new owner to change this)
65k miles
MOT till 23/3/15, TAX till 09/14

Engine:
ABF conversion, roughly 100k if i remember correctly.
Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, aux belt, inlet, exhaust, rocker gaskets changed.
New leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, spark plugs, cabin filter and fuel filter. Fairly new Bosch Distributor.
Oil flushed with premium filters, fresh coolant.
The troublesome idle valve has been ultrasonically cleaned, i also have a set of injectors and FPR that have had the same treatment, just not fitted.
Twin fan VR6/16v slam panel and rad fitted, but has some pink overspray.
02J box with 02j selector fitted with TT short shift weight.
Steel sump fitted with new gasket.
Puck in front mount for a slight raise.
Aftermarket panel filter, Decat.

Chassis:
6 Month old coilovers, currently have 375lb 5" springs fitted, can come with original softer springs.
Balljoint extenders and track rod flip kit fitted.
G60 280mm front brakes.
New lemforder wishbones with r32 solid rear bushes, new top mounts, ARB links and balljoints fitted less than 3k ago.
Rear disc set up will be included but not fitted.
G60 steels with 195/45 good tread.

Exterior:
Usual amount of small dinks and scratches for a 18 year old car.
Worst being a 20p sized scratch/dent in the NS rear quarter, and a crease in the drivers door.
There is a rust patch on the front lower of the rear arch, in front of the door, will get a picture.
NS wing has been replaced with a good condition one, small amount of rust at bottom but still solid, slight ripple from arch roll.
Have an OS wing to match the N/S which will be included but not fitted, same small amount of surface rust at bottom.
The rest of the chassis is one of the most rust free mk3/ventos i've ever seen, no rust appearing anywhere.
Paint comes up really nice, could do with a going over with a mop to be really good though.

Interior:
Beige, beige and more beige.
Will come with a set of astra GTE recaros which match the beige kinda well.
Full boot carpets, if you've ever owned a vento without, you'll know how hard this is to get hold of!
The following will be included in the sale: Black carpets, plastics, dash, doorcards, rear shelf and 4 electric windows w/ looms, switches etc.
Audio Acoustics USB/aux in unit, Infinity components up front.

Extras/Spares:
Votex roof bars
US plate tub
Amber/Red rears

Bad Points, every car has them.
Inner NS CV is gone, this will be changed for sale.
Center pipe is blowing after decat, again, will be addressed for sale.
Beige Interior is a little grubby, if you have eyes/taste you'll put the black stuff in anyway.
THAT little white clip that holds the brake pedal to the servo is broken, not an issue unless you pull the pedal.

Anyway, enough chat.
