I am selling our wee polo as a project or spare or repairs etc

We built this for some fun on a budget (budget was smashed in the end tho) but it's sat on my drive for too long now and I'm not going to get round to finish it correctly.

It's taken up up space on my drive that I need for my other cars so it needs to go

Thought about breaking the car , but it's too genuine a example.

3 owners from new with 68k miles form new. (I knew the previous owner who had the car for years and hardly used it so mileage is genuine)

Gearbox is perfect, no whines or crunching which is rare for a 16v box

Engine runs great with plenty power I serviced it when I got it and it's only done 250 miles since then.

Really genuine straight wee 3dr car never been smashed or any accident damage.

Next to no rust either. Just a couple of tiny tiny bubbles where it's coming back through (I mean tiny)

There is no tax or MOT.

I checked it over for a time waster buyer to let him know what it needs, rear wheel cylinder is leaking and two rear tyres needed and a couple of bulbs. Bulbs were done so I could drive. But I don't have the time or willing to spend any more coin on the car

It had a full new exhaust(cat back) just before I got it ,and two new wishbones.

I fitted brand new JOM coilovers which are still like new not seized still shiney chrome.

It has a 280mm mono team steering wheel.

It has full yellow and black recaro leather interior from a mk3 golf colour concept

Bad bits of course at this price.

No mot or tax

The yellow paint job is shite, it has faded badly, so needs painted or covered in some way, wraped, plasty dip ,stickers etc etc. When car was painted the door checks, inside of bonnet ,doors and tailgate were all painted in the same colour everything bar the engine bay, so only outside of the car needs painted. I planned on painting it again so bought the yellow paint so I have that sitting included in the sale (this was over £250 on its own)

It sits on standard 16v polo 6n 14" alloys two rear tyres needed for mot

Airbag light on due to momo wheel.

I have now sold this car twice to local guys both who messed me about for a £700 car

Both didn't have the money but wanted the car. Doesn't work like that lol

So please no time wasters.

It needs a decent set of wheels and a repaint and a mot which I'm confident won't need much bar what I've mentioned, I'm not here to mess anyone around. I just don't have the time or willing to loose any more coin on this project when I need to finish my MK2 for next year.
