Featured Replies

Make: Volkswagen

Model: Polo 1.4 16v (6n2)

Year/Reg: 2001 (51)

Mileage: 141,321

Tax: SORNED

MOT: None

Location: Sheffield

Good Points:

  • Car runs and works!
  • No advisory notes on last MOT
  • Includes Alpine 6 CD changer CRM-S620
  • Tyres are in reasonable condition
  • Full Service History
    • In VW manual up until 2008
    • All service and MOT details with receipts for work done since owned and any work not in service manual

Bad Points:

  • Exhaust is blowing
  • Drivers side wing mirror is missing. Electronics, and arm present, glass and plastic frame missing (see pictures)
  • Central locking has been disabled on passenger side.
  • Damage and scratches to near side passanger door (see pictures)
  • Damage and scracthes to rear bumper
  • 2 VW hub caps present - 2 missing

Info:

This car has had 4 previous owners. Owned since 2008. Has run well throughout this ownership and other than the issue with the central locking there have been no noteable issues with the car. Selling as we have a baby on the way and need a bigger car.

Given the age of the car, we don't want to spend money to put it through an MOT ourselves (we think the exhaust will need work or replacing). It will however make a great car for an enthusiast to bring back to full life. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch via PM on here or rdmarchand [AT] gmail.com
