I know the previous owner as he works at the motor spares/machine shop i use. He got it and the cambelt snapped, he then spent a load sorting that out!

So its had the head done new valves job etc proper job, new head gasket, new timing belt and pump properly timed up with vag com etc etc - so it runs mint, drives well too.

He basically did all the work and lost interest in it and left it standing at his work, then asked me if i was interested in it as i drive a modded one as my daily and always have a load of vw's.

I gave it a little clean inside, swapped a front spring, changed a couple of bulbs and took it for its test.

inside is good for a van, not mint but not fucked, rear has a half bulkhead and carpet down(oringinal rubber underneath it), pretty tidy, proper lock on back doors. rev counter clocks.

It is solid as a rock underneath no welding ever done or going to be needed for a long time, its better nderneath than my own one.

Body work is ok but does have some scrapes and rattle can bits mostly on the rear, rear bumper cracked in one corner.

The only other slight issue is that it sounds like the exhaust is blowing a little bit from up near the front, I've checked it all over and cant find any blow, exhaust gasket is new and no signs of any blows, I've had the inlet off so i could have a good look around but cant find any sign of it blowing
