The time has come to part with my engine set up currently running in a mk2 jetta. It's a 1.4 abd new rings and shells just finished run in. The head is a polo gt head also just been rebuilt has been has flowed new seals and guids and valve seats cut. Has a 272 with vernier pulley new cambelt. Reprofiled and refurbished dizzy (no vac advance) with flamethrower coil and uprated leads Lightend 1.3 flywheel with 200mm had clucth less then 1000mile old with gt gear box no rattles or nothing. Carb wise it's zx6r carbs with dan at manifold has been set up on rolling road before the rebuild and made 110bhp with 2 cylinders down on compression prediction of bhp now is easy 120bhp this engine has a lot or torque and will quite happily pull the heavier jetta engine around will make a pretty fast mk2 polo. The tuner even said he hasn't seen a smoother power curve for a long time. I think that's about it pretty much a brand new engine scince the rebuild it's covered less than 600 mile. All u will need is a 4 branch manifold as the one in the pictures has been modified to go over the subframe on a mk2 jetta. Will come with facet fuel pump aswell.

Price wise not really sure as the parts on this really add up. So I'm gunna say £650 still in the car can be seen and taken (passenger for a drive). Can also come with omex rev limiter with launch control for an extra £75. I can also fit the engine in your car for some extra money also location is Bedford I wouldnt like to post it just incase damage happens. There's so much more money in this car the cam alone is 200 quid and the pulley 100 quid so surely a bargain to be had.

This is quick in the jetta, will defo make a polo fly!!

can I ask what air filter you are running mate?

It's a piper cross px600.

would you consider selling the complete engine and gearbox without the carbs or ancillaries?

This is all potentially sold now had buyers lined up for the other bits incase it did get split up.
