My mk2 project

Featured Replies

Basically just bought a mk2 polo genesis for cheap and Itll be a kinda project for me for a few months

A few bits need doing like the obvious re-spray, I'm thinking a set of bbs with spacers but I'm unsure of which ones to actually get, lowering springs, radio going in it, spray the bottom half of the bumper red after smoothing it,a general tidy up of it all...disks,drums, shoes, filters, spark plugs &pads, cold air intake, cat back exhaust and re-flash it

Done hardly anything so far

- some new tweeters for the dash

- side plastic trims off the door pannels

- cleaned up the engine bay

Getting a few grand through in the next few days for this project

Any advice whatsoever would be great, thankyou😊 I'll keep updated😊🚗

Cheers mate

What engine is it? Just so you no these ecu's you can't reflash you have to by chips and put them in, welcome along :)

86c is also the mk2, so be very careful.

It's only a little 1.0 litre & is it worth re flashing it at all?

I never did mine I was quite happy with a 421 exhasut and induction kit plus golf intake pipe

Lowering and wide wheels, thier quite nippy to be fair only die to the low weight if the car
