Can someone tell me which coloured wires from the distributor coil go to the rev counter please?

I want to wire directly from there instead of cutting wires from the loom.

It comes from the ECU pin 9

The ecu is redundant as moved to megajolt. So I just follow the wire that goes to the old ECU at pin 9 and use that?

It was the original ECU that gave the info to the rev counter from pin 9 on a Green/Blue wire that goes through the fusebox and onto the speedo pod on a Green wire pin 10 ( upto 97 models) and same coloured wires on the post 97 models to pin 11 of the speedo pod

Getting technical. On megajolt I just need to put one wire from there to the rev counter wire. lol So I just tap into the green wire pin 10 on the pod.

Looking at the megajolt site looks like you'll need the tacho adapter unit?? that connects to the coil pack and a single connection to the tacho

No. Sometimes you can get away with it and tap straight into the wire.

Sometimes it works. If it does not work then they ask you to buy the tacho adaptor which is around 15 quid i think.

That looks like the post 97 junction box ? if so the tacho wire is on the RED plug pin 10 on the body side it's just a plain Green wire and on the engine side it's a Green wire with a Blue tracer

The one that has a green wire on one side and a green/blue on the other

I just checked and it is numbered on the red socket. number 10 has the green wire in it.

I don't know how I can see behind the fuse terminal to see the green/blue.it seems impossible.

So obviously I need to tap into the green one from the body side because it is from that side it goes into the rev.

Can you not find the green/blue wire at the original ecu connector? that way it'll save running a new wire through the bulkhead

from the ecu left to right i counted ten wires. and the tenth one was the blue/green.
