SOLD

Hi All,

Here I have for sale my Volkswagen Lupo 1.4s 16v in Black with a dark grey cloth interior, please see details below.

2000 on a W plate

120,750 miles – I have owned the car since 02/02/2008 when the mileage at sale was 59,730. I would estimate that 90% of the miles I have put on are from motorway driving

The are two previous owners

5 speed manual gearbox which was refurbished towards the end of 2009

The car comes with the owner’s manual (pending) and two sets of keys including two fobs for the Toad Ai606 Thatcham Cat 1 Car Alarm I had fitted, which also enables remote central locking (this aftermarket alarm reduces insurance premium too)

Original CD & Cassette Player (pending) (Including radio code) or I can include the Alpine 9812RB Head Unit at the right price

Standard features include: Height adjustable driver's seat, Folding rear seats, Power steering, Steering wheel rake adjustment, Immobiliser, Driver's airbags, Passenger airbags.

The car also has electric windows, power steering, air bags and a sun roof (optional extra)

The interior has been cleaned regularly and there are no tears at all, tailored fit floor mats will be included

The car has a few blemishes and car park dings, it is 14 years old after all

The tyres have plenty of tread remaining

MoT till July 2015, tax until May 2015 (although a new law has come in that means you will need to buy road tax once the vehicle is in your name)

Lots of paperwork and service history, including previous MoTs, tax discs and receipts

I have personally serviced the car during my ownership, which includes replacement of the Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter and Spark Plugs either annually or after 10,000 miles (whichever comes first). I have always used 5w30 Fully Synthetic oil which meets the VW Long-life service standard, meaning that the oil only really needs changing every 20,000 miles.

The most recent service was carried out at approximately 120,500 miles

During my ownership the following parts have been replaced/refurbished (outside of regular service items):

11/2009 ~ 74,000 miles S. Y. Motors Ltd - Gearbox reconditioned
18/10/10 ~ 78,000 miles Clutch Junction - Replaced clutch cable
21/10/10 ~ 78,000 miles Clutch Junction – Reconditioned clutch and clutch release bearing (I also had the pedal box inspected)
12/2010 Exhaust from the Catalytic Convertor all the way back
24/08/2011 ~ 85,100 miles SJB Autotech - Drivers side window regulator
12/09/2011 ~ 87,000 miles Autobarn – Replaced thermostat, housing and seal together with G12 anti-freeze
09/12/2013 New Battery – changed to a Bosch S5 which is still within 4 years of its guarantee period
14/02/2013 Wipers – replaced with Aero wipers
24/06/2013 Autobarn - Cambelt, Cam Cover Sealant and Alternator Belt at 112,403 miles
Set of 4 tyres – with plenty of tread remaining

The car is HPI clear but best to do your own check to confirm (please note that I had a private plate on the car if that shows up as a fault)

The car drives like it did when I first purchased it over 60,000 miles ago, very nippy and smooth throughout the rev range.

The car is very economical; I have been tracking my mpg over the last 25,279 miles using fuelly.com and have averaged 48mpg

Please do not hesitate to contact me on 07929990569.

Location Basingstoke, Hampshire (RG22)

Price: £950
