Since the dates are confirmed I'll get this booked off work.

Can't wait to hear the plans for this year, it's always an awesome weekend.

5 and a half hours, is that all? I'm easy double that! haha.

  • Just booked this! Puddleduck standard, arriving on the friday for two nights. Next step is sorting out tents and everything else. If anyone else is going up from the south west and wants to convoy ,

  • I'll be posting up tomorrow how you book and the booking code you need to book into our field :)

I also did that already on work.

Finally my dozen is full.

For me it's enough when it's not raining, any other weather is fine (exept snow :D)

It's the 13th Poloshow.... hopefully not a bad sign.

cheers

Christian

polo social? ehhh?

Decided to swap the name to make it more akin to what it actually is. A VW Polo Social event :) But if you still wish to call it the Polo Show then that's fine too! :)

Polo Social makes it sound a bit more posh and up market I think.

But in saying that do we not risk having folk turn up on horseback with big wooden mallets?

Can't book this off until April, gonna have to set a reminder! Would love to be able to come up to my first Polo Social!

Well that's the Saturday event sorted.. Polo using Polo's!!!:yahoo:

It's a 5 and a half hour drive from Cornwall, which just means I have an excuse to make a whole weekend of it!

That will be the first time I drive that far in one go, to be fair. :p

Will you be bringing the rolling road back to the show this year?

Ouch 5 1/2 hours is long for you??? Pussy. 8>) (just kidding)

I have been from germany to the austrian wörthersee eleven times. That was always 12 + hours (~1000km/600miles) with only tankstops and a few 5minutes breaks....

Okokok,in my younger years it was easy and i liked it.

In the meantime i feel annoyed when i do such a long journey, my back hurts, it is loud and tight in that small polo and so on......

Oh so this year i was @Wörthersee and poloshow eleven times, next year i'll be at the poloshow again, but not in austria.

So poloshow beats the wörthersee. :D:smile::tongue::pardon:

cheers

I wanted to go to the 86c Treffen in Holland, but I can't afford to this year.

I've not actually passed my test yet, so this will probably be my first show with the Polo.

Don't get me wrong, five and a half hours drive is something to definitely look forward to! :D
