I have a vw polo 1.4 1999 and I have a problem with starting the car. I start the car and leave for like 3 hours running and then I turn it off . Then 1hour later I try to start it it starts I leave it for a couple of mins and it dies by its self.

Service has not been done yet if that's the cause of the problem. Think it could be the fuel filter

Any ideas
