9N3 RCD200 Radio Removal

Hi,

I'm wanting to install one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-AUX-input-adapter-interface-lead-3-5mm-jack-Delta-6-RCD200-RCD210-CTVVGX004-/321138457494 in my 9N3 Polo.

I've bought the radio removal keys to check to see if it will be compatible and I noticed when I pulled the radio out that it comes about 95% out but won't come all the way out so I can't access the connectors on the back. It's as if the wires at the back aren't long enough.

Just wondering if anyone had any tips - do I need to remove parts of the centre consol to access the back of the radio? If so are there any instructions on how to do this?
