5dr VW Polo 6N 1.4L petrol in pistachio green with hella lights & towbar

Featured Replies

Looking for around £350, just want her going to a good home, offers welcome.

Postcode WA3, not far from Bolton, Wigan, Manchester, etc.

Brilliant little car, I love her, VERY reluctant sale due to the wife insisting, needing a bigger family car, and having no time to work on her. Cheap to insure, cheap to run, really nippy! Really head turning colour with matching lights. Some problems, pretty easy fixes, needs some love, but currently no MOT and SORN, can't be driven away, hence low price.

You will get -

Mk3 1998 S reg 1.4L petrol VW Polo in Pistachio Green LD6D

Also includes -

Polo Towbar (PCT Automotive VW4277 (cost £169)

original steelies, these are rusting and need attention. Was going to recondition and do in black.

2 keys.

Original owners manual.

Partial service history

Plenty of previous MOT certificates, part receipts etc.

Logbook

Full toolkit

Brand new spare wheel

Panasonic radio/CD player.

Solid engine and gearbox etc.

3 good tyres 175/65/13

Mats

V5, obviously.

Haynes Service Manual in near perfect condition (no dirty marks, or folded pages etc)

Brand new steering rack and pipe fitted Oct 14

Side rub strips removed and touched up for smoother profile.

Has aftermarket matching colour magic Hella green rear lights

matching colour magic Hella green indicators,

matching green side repeaters.

(All tuv certified and mot/road legal.) They look so brilliant on, photos really do not do it justice. Very distinctive. Total headturners! These were expensive, over £100 for the set, and I think I even still have the boxes.

All the original lights (orange side repeaters, rear lights, indicators) will also be included.

Almost full spray can of LD6D colour matched paint for touch ups.

Bad points -

No mot, currently sorn

Needs new power steering pump.

Needs power steering fluid refill.

Glovebox lock broken.

Rear Wiper cracked, needs removing or replacing.

Rust in wheel arches typical of age, cosmetically needs sanding off and a paint touch up.

Needs one new tyre due to low tread.

No speakers.

Some minor cosmetic niggles in the paintwork that should Tcut out.

Really easy project for someone to take on board. With a little work she will look sensational! I really really want her to go to a good home if possible as she is a great little motor and far too promising to just break for parts. Please ask for any info or for more pictures.

Quick sake preferred before I change my mind and just consider a divorce instead...
