After looking for a solid mk2 bready for quite some time (brought and got rid of a few during that time) I finally found a good base for a project in the form of this F reg Ranger for the grand total of £380:

Absolute mission getting it home though, 50 odd miles with a hole in the radiator, plenty of water / eggs / cooling down stops later... Made it!

Which also came with a boot full of spares!!

No holes in the battery tray!

Nice straight cills

It wasn't long before it started getting ripped apart though....

Brought an uber rare grille and lower valance

Fitted stage 3 subframe

Stole the doors off the mk3....

Welded up a few holes in the bay

Including the heater matrix hole.... oooops

note: most of the paint in this picture is just to protect it from the elements!

Attacked the rear arches with the grinder!

So that pretty much sums up me hacking her to pieces... then it was off to the bodyshop to fix all my bodging haha!

Broke the windscreen getting it out :(
