VW Polo Mk2F Coupe GT 1994

One of the finest examples of few GTs left on the road in Britain. It has had no expense spared and been meticulously looked after. It has been hugely reliable and has very low mileage for its age. I encourage viewings

Maintenance

New engine earth strap

New coolant thermostat and thermostat housing with bolt modification (to stop the common leaking Polo’s suffer from) and all associated O-rings were replaced with coolant change to Motul Expert Ultra coolant

Oil filter and Oil change 2000 miles ago, Castrol Super Synthetic Magnetex used

All engine sensors were cleaned

Brake flush and bleed with uprated motorsport standard dot 5.1 New cam cover gasket with cleaned faces

Both front wheels bearings replaced 2000 miles ago

New brake pads

All the rubber hoses in the engine were replaced last year

Door and boot sills replaced and new aero blade wipers

Undersealed regularly so not a stop of rust on it (very rare)

Injectors cleaned

New lower control arm bushes

New radiator last year with new fan

Common for these to leak fuel from the filler neck, so I have included a new fuel tank in the sale, this may have been fitted before sale. However it only leaks above £30 worth of fuel

Volts and Oil gauge have been disconnected

Electric windows need readjusting

Fogs lights have stopped working, may well be just be a blown bulb not completing the circuit but I haven’t had a chance to look

Naturally the car had a few age related carpark dents and scratches but nothing that catches the eye
