As a Halfords Employee we were recently given an Internal notice regarding the revision of the Halfords Lifetime Guarantee, as there is lots of rumors about it, I will make it clear:

Proof Of Purchase

No Longer Required On Any Halfords Advanced Or Professional Tools

Moving Parts

All Parts Will Be Replaced, Even Those With Moving Parts Or 'Wear And Tear' Parts

This will only cover Halfords Professional and Halfords Advanced Tools Which Have Been

Correctly Used For The Purpose For Which They Were Intended

If you still have problems exchanging your tools which have been correctly used and broken under normal use, Your best bet would be to speak to a

manager at the store, If they still say no, ask them to call their customer service team to resolve this issue.
