First of all, Hello :) totally new here and after becoming insanely lost on the internet looking for a solution I turned to here :)

so.. around christmas my car was vandalised and the aerial was snapped clean off (thread included) so i looked towards VW for a replacement aerial base and for them to fit it for me..

£70 for the aerial base

And a mere £190 for it to be fitted...

safe to say i ran a mile and now I'm stuck with a broken aerial and no DAB radio.. fun times.

Wondering if anyone has a tutorial on how to replace this myself, because to my understanding its just one nut and one connector under the headliner.. but i have no idea where to start :/

Any advice would be much appreciated.
