New To The Polo, New To The Forum

Hi all

My name's Anthony. In a few days time I will be the proud owner of a Polo 1.4Tdi. Even though I'm getting on a bit now (turned 50) and owned all types of cars over the years, I'm not very mechanically minded, so will no doubt have plenty of questions to irritate you all with.

Well a few people have said that I must be crazy buying (what they call) an old, underpowered, noisy, 3 cylinder diesel. But I like my cars like my women, cheap and easy to get... Whoa, that's enough of that. I like cars with a bit of character. The 'look' of the 9n really caught my eye, and it certainly has more than a touch of character about it. I just hope we will both be able to enjoy plenty of (fairly) trouble free miles over the next few years
