How do you get such a good finish with rattle cans ??

When i did the side i used a proper spray gun and compressor, but when i sprayed the passenger wing i used spray can,,

Before i sprayed it i watched loads of videos and just took my time, once the lacquer had cured i wet sanded to remove some of the orange peel.

I have used them for touch up pots very good ..

Was driving home from college and it started running rough and noticed the temp gauge rise up so pulled over and saw that it had lost lots of coolant! after a bit of looking round and not seeing any obvious leaks i put it down to head gasket!

So today i started stripping it down and am just waiting for the parts to come, hopefully tomorrow! can see that it was no1 cylinder where it failed

Yes its a 1.0L AAU

The parts arrived this afternoon so put it all back together, just need to put the fluids in tomorrow and run it up up temperature

All up and running again now!

I recently noticed that i had a small petrol leak coming from the usual place where the filler neck meets the body of the fuel tank so replaced it with a brand new one that i had already which was painted up and waxed really well to try and prevent it rusting.
