New wing through warranty (9N3)

Just got a call from Ingrams VW in Ayr today to authorise a new front wing through warranty ...they shop manager was adamant that Polo's don't suffer from corrosion and I wouldn't get it. Well there's a first for everything haha!

Being brand new to the Polo 9N3 GTI I'm not really sure if they suffer from the same corrosion problems at they're Golf counterparts (mk5)... I don't think there is mk5 in existence that hasn't had front wings replaced and in some cases the boot handle casing on the goes as well.

Having had a wing through the 12 year corrosion warranty on my Golf I thought I'd chance my luck with the Polo I just picked up, which had some bubbling on the edge of the front arch clearly coming through from the inside. Got the result I wanted and it's booked in for a week on Monday It's well worth dropping in at Ingram VW's Bodyshop in Ayr if anyone local has noticed some bubbling on their car. Just thought I would share to give hope to anyone else lol
