    When I had my first car (corsa, yes I know ) I had a bonnet bra on, when I took it off a year later the entire front of my bonnet was rusting and paint peeling off where it had held all the water in.

    Nice one, I can't wait! How is your new GTI? Also does anyone know if there is a big difference between flat black and the metallic black? I orders flat black but I'm now reconsidering.

    Seen the concept golf which had the red strip continue into the headlight, I love it, such a nice and subtle touch.

    Becareful of the bonnet bra, sometimes they are more hassle than they are worth..... Heard horror stories of moisture getting underneath and causing the paint work to go shit and bubble!

    On the GTE (the plug-in hybrid GTI), the e-Golf (fully electric) and the Golf Bluemotion (not in the UK, as ours are based on a base spec trim) the stripe is blue:
