What time do people actually tend to leave on the Sunday? Turns out I've got more time off than I thought so I don't need to rush back. :) Trying to work out how much food to bring!

Ah yeah, you're heading down to the Lizard etc aren't you! Are you going straight down from leaving? That would be quite tempting.

I've already emailed them twice to alter my booking, think they might wring my neck if I ask to change it again! Would be nice to stay an extra night if I've got the time off anyway!

Yeah, I'm hoping to stay down that way on the Monday. I don't know what time I'll be leaving at though because I might enjoy having a wee dram on the Sunday.

That's fine, as long as I've got people to chat to I'm happy to be hanging around. :)

I've got the week off in preparation. Will be tidying and finishing up little jobs. I gave the interior a good 'valet' yesterday. Want it looking good. I'm looking forward to it!

I had a thought, as mine's not a Polo, can I still line her up for the show n shine on the Sunday? :) Is it casual enough for that?

Dam that's keen :) from having a working car last weekend I've now removed the engine and suspension... should be all back together Friday... hopefully :)

I didn't book the whole week. I booked the day before I travel up (Thursday) to the Monday off. I've been given the whole week.

Bloody good too really, as it's just started to play up, right on cue.

I still need to fix an oil leak, put the car back together and then hope and pray it passes an MOT.

I plan to start my journey down Tuesday/Wednesday....so no pressure....

Bit of a narrow time frame.

Mine's almost completely undriveable at the moment, down to it bucking in 1st and 2nd and not having 5th gear at all. Hoping it's something I can fix for no money over the next week, as I don't get paid until the day we're travelling up!

Well between the two of us we'll have an interesting convoy! It's been a lot better today. It was quite misty and muggy yesterday and I don't have a warm air feed to my carb. Think that might have been screwing with it a bit. Gonna try and sort some pipe and give the carb a look over within the next week. :)

Better not forget mark or tent pegs will mysteriously go missing 😂
