NO TAX DUE TO LAW

109,000 Miles on chassis (will increase due to driving)

Engine mileage is unknown due to conversion, but was rebuilt before put in new car ( I shall look through all documents to see if i can find)

Loads of documents and receipts (Slightly damaged tho due to being left out)

Registered as a 1.1 but currently running a 1.3GT engine thats been skimmed, lightened and balanced, bored out.

Yamaha R1 Bike carbs .

Uprated rad, electronic fuel pump, New fuel tank and starter motor

Original and GENUINE BBS Split rims (Worth 1k brand new) with smart car tyres with fully lowered suspension all round.

Custom built stainless exhaust made for this car especially by a pro exhaust builder. New manifold made to except the carbs.

5 speed gearbox fitted.

Neon headlights with standard sidelights and flicker strobe built into lights for show use.

Air horns fitted.

Suede and leather custom seats with bucket style fronts.

Momo mini steering wheel.

Sub and amp and component speakers fitted in the parcel shelf (Been re-carpeted over)

Solenoid boot thats de-badged and de locked working off a button in the cab.

Rev counter on dash.

Sony Stereo with iPod/iPhone connectivity (USB)

Original paintwork which is amazing for its age (only age related marks etc, been polished and cleaned properly its whole life)

Boot has been resprayed.

New green tinted front windscreen.

Iron cross features throughout the car.

The car pulls like a train, and goes in every gear with ease. The car is very fast, and loves to rev. It can keep up with modern day sports cars. The exhaust is very loud.

This car is a massive head turner, and you WILL get people asking and taking pictures of it.

BAD BITS

Carbs could do with being tuned and balanced to get full performance out of her. This means the car doesn't rev as quick as it should, and when it hasn't warmed up fully, the revs will drop to below 1000rpm. All what I 'think' needs doing to this is tuning to the carbs and the throttle. This isn't expensive, and can easily be done by someone who knows how. The car is perfectly fine to drive, but will have to rev the engine once started (Old car problems)

The bonnet has two dents, and is bent at the top near the wiper. This was cause by the bonnet flying up while driving as the bonnet wasn't put down on its latch properly. I have replaced the two bonnet hinges with silver one's off of a Polo coupe, but if you wanted to restore this to a show car again, you may want to put a new bonnet on the car. It is only noticeable once shown (please ask for pictures). This has caused the bonnet to be hard to open (need two people to open the bonnet)

The car does rub on the left arch when turning to the right (For example going round a roundabout), but only with another passenger in the car, it is fine when driving by yourself.

At the moment, the handbrake doesn't work as it has only started not working. I suspect the main brake cable has come off the handbrake, as looking under the car, both right and left handbrakes are fine, I shall fix this if the price is met.

The right HID bulb is a bit funny, and sometimes doesn't work, I think it may need a new bulb, but lights work fine with HID's on.

Boot solenoid does stick sometimes.

Passenger seat is not on its rails, but it is fit in place.

I've tried to list this as best as i can and list all the little niggles and problems so the buyer knows of all the problems

This car is very rare with only 49 registered left in the country (With the engine its got in it, its one of a kind).

I am very reluctant to sell the car, as it will make a great summer car, and because it is a VW, if kept in the same condition for a couple of years, the car could sell for bonkers money.

Cheap to insure, I'm 17, and with all mods declared with directline it came to 1500 with a box.

This car has not be ragged, and has been kept by enthusiast (including myself)
