Slow progress polo

Been lurking the forums for a while now reading build threads etc. getting ideas and with my polo getting near to complete with the bodywork finally I thought I'd start one of these , Last year I was lurking gumtree and seen this polo with front bumper damage come up cheap as chips, as Id just turned 17 I wanted a car, so after nagging my brother for a bit off we went, got there had a look around, kicked the tyres abit, the usual, It was clean enough, paint was faded and front bumper damaged but my brother being a painter and my dad a mechanic was nothing major, got it back and stripped the front, bought a new bumper, gti grill, the usual, after a while of debating colours, going from purple to grey to black I finally settled on a green as It was less hassle,

So after the "fun" of prep, we set out ready for paint, added abit of green to the primer to give me an idea and was fairly pleased with how it ended up, during the process I decided I wanted to paint the engine cover so off went the 1.0 MPI badge, plastic welded and smoothed, then colour coded,
