Okay here goes.. hi I've been on here a few months now and I always find myself reading the build threads so I thought I'd give my own a go! Had my car 6 months now and have been slowly changing it to how I want.
It looked like this when I got it (sorry about the terrible photos, they were took on my phone)

After fixing everything that needed doing (just the usual stuff brake shoes, new tires, etc.) I decided to de-wiper, de-badge and add sticker. I know the stickers aren't to everyone's liking but I think they're kinda cool

After a long overdue clean thanks to the masses of salt on the roads, I sprayed some of the interior bits just for something to do on a weekend didn't take many photos of it as it wasn't the best quality job

Skip ahead a little and it was Christmas, and with some tinsel to make it look festive I got a few new bits and fitted them, GTI grille and a roof rack, also wrapped interior rather than paint, came out a little better and the colour is ace 😜. And a few of the other VWs in the family for good measure!

Next thing I did was get coilovers! It was so much better when they finally got fitted.. only cheap fks but I needed some lows! (I know its not scraping but its lowered yet practical) Rolled my arches a little too

Next thing before Ultimate Dubs was a gti splitter... Small thing but definitely makes a huge difference and coilovers finally settled so looks pretty low

Next thing to happen to the little polo was front fogs, I think they make the front look better again and helps with the gti look

Thanks man, yeah I love my nookie roof bars but they're very much a love hate thing. I've got some more updating to do of the thread now with new wheels etc.

Okay so with everything coming together nicely i decided to look for new wheels as the TSW were catching on my rear arches from the big tires, i looked for a few weeks and eventually spotted these at a bargain price (they needed a refurb and tires) in Wales so i immediately got them shipped up to the North East and set about getting someone to refurb them and buying tires!

Finally the last things i have done to it so far are change the interior trim colours again sprayed them all this time and took my time, and got the wheels fitted, for anyone wondering they're BBS RZ515 with 195/45/15 Nankang tires on. I'm really happy with how its sitting right now and cant wait for more things to happen with it! (also a few shots of it at various shows/meets). Thanks for reading so far, any opinions welcome!

Anyone know which oil cap fits straight on facing forward as I've been told they both fit but one sits sideways. Is it porsche or audi r8
