mk2f rear suspension washer things

Featured Replies

was wondering if anybody knew where to get all the bits for mk2 rear suspension such as:

the little black rubber washers for above and below the turret?

the big metal washer that sits underneath the turret (guessing to stop the shock coming in the car)?

and the small metal washer thats above the turret and sits on a rubber washer?

I need new stuff when i swap to AP suspension instead of the TA stuff, on the rear i had to use extra metal washers to compensate for my rubbers which were fully split meaning i couldnt use them again. If anybody could sell me them I would be grateful,or tell me where i can get them online.

i just ordered 2 concave washers from vwheritage that are for the mk2 golf to see if they are the same as the big washer. I'm assuming it fits the same as the bumpstops from the mk2 all fit the same apparently.

sadly cant find photos but I'm hoping somebody knows what i mean.

cheers, John

The big washers can be purchased from vw classic parts . And I thinks the rubber bushes can too. The small washer is just a washer so any will do.

Get the part number from vagcat and then click the link saying part availability checker and search for that part :)

All of those parts normally come with your new shock absorbers.
