Mk4 Golf Seats in 6N2

Hi Guys,

i know this has been touched on a few times but i cant seem to find any detailed threads,

iv got a set of mk4 golf leathers and have been reliably informed (by various people) that with a bit of persuasion they will fit,

i know the front seats need the 6n2 runner welding on in place of the golf one, not had a go at that yet but one step at a time ey!

the problem i have is the rears, the bench is in as the mounts are almost in the same place so with a slight bend that fits fine

but the upright is completely different :( read on another thread that if you dismantle both benches then you can put the parts together to make a fitting one, you now see why i started with the 'easy' option, however the seat backs are a different shape and the un-latching system is different so cant work out how to make them fit at all

can someone please point me in the right direction as to which parts to use, how to make them fit and any tips, or a link to a thread where all this information is? (I'm not very good at forums) :(
