Thought it might be interesting to have a thread for people who keep tropical,marine or freshwater fish and who maybe want to share their own.

I personally have a 4 foot tank with a massive filter (gumtree bought so don't know specs) and two 100w heaters, I have a co2 kit but not sure if I'll set it up yet.

Fish at the moment are in no particular order:

Chinese Algae eater

Albino ruby shark

Red tailed black shark

Black ruby barbs

Red speckled swordtail's

Giant danio's

Purple harlequin rasboras

Some pics are below, bare in mind they are just crappy camera phone pics and my lights went so being lit with a lamp for pictures till I get new tubes lmao.

Used to have loads of fish. I once somehow ended up with a sturgeon in a 2ft fresh water tank. They can grow up 10 feet or something silly. That one escalated quickly.

...I took it back to the shop.

Hahaha, I can't even tell if your serious as I just searched sturgeon and saw a much smaller one than that one you got a pic of lol

Makes it all the more believeable

I think that's an extreme that they can grow to. We had no idea though and literally had it in a 2ft tank and they're supposed to grow to at least 1ft or something! It was a baby one when we got it.

Yeah I get that haha, did you take any of your tank?

Unfortunately not. It was a good few years ago now. I had to rehome them all when I moved out of my parents house about 3 years ago !

That's a shame, I might have to do the same next year as I could be moving about 280 miles north of where I am!
