For sale is my '91 MK2F GT coupe in red with 112k miles. I have only owned this a few weeks as I bought it to do up and take to VW fest this year as I sold my last one earlier this year. The reason I am selling so quick is because the turbo has blown on my A3 and I simply don't have the money for a replacent so this has to go to fund it.

Car wise it is completely standard, apart from a de-badged front grill and tailgate. There is receipts for every single things bought for this car in the past as they guy I bought it from was genuine and looked after her. Original book pack with manual and service book.

GOOD POINTS:

Clean and standard

HPI clear

11 months MOT (no advisorys)

All work carried out by the same garage

Well maintained

Good interior

Drives spot on

New accelerator cable

New front callipers

Head skimmed 2012

New water pump 2014

NOT SO GOOD POINTS:

Odd age related scratch

Odd trolley ding

Wheels could do with a refurb (they are 24yr old)

Fuel filler kneck rusty and will need replacing soon

-Faulty coolant sensor, runs at 90deg but light has been on 2yr

Overall the car for its age is pretty rare, a standard 1.3 GT coupe in red this clean untouched and looked after by its previous owner who has owned it for 5 years and has had all its work don't by the same garage. Went through its MOT in June with no advisorys. Engine is strong and pulls really well for a 1.3.

Really gutted that I have to sell this as I haven't owned it long and want to keep it in prep for VW fest but circumstances change and have to move on.

That is a lovely get. The rims on it were optional extra which is quite unusual as most went for the wheel trims.
