What are people using these days? I haven't attempted to upload photos for a few years now and in that time photobucket has become dreadful. I've signed up to instagram but I'm not sure where to find the image code I need. What are others using?

Photobucket is the only one that (IMO) easily allows posing on forums. But yes its got worse over the years.

There are no IMG codes on Instagram.

You can add photos using the forum itself which is okish... but you can quickly run out of space. but we could see if we can increase it.. :)

How do you add them to the forum directly? I never knew that!

Photobucket keeps crashing and I can't see the folders on my mobile that I create on the web-based site. It's so clunky and shit. I remember a few years back it got worse, but it seems it's gone down hill even further

And Nigel, thank you. I knew there was another app people used to use. Is it any better than Photobucket, before I go downloading it?

I use photobucket and I've not had any problems with it, either the mobile or desktop version, I do have a flikr account but I can't recall the last time I used it

I use Photobucket, it's great for quickly uploading pictures from the phone or iPad. But I find it a bit of a pain to copy and paste the IMG codes when not on a computer. But that's the only complaint I have of Photobucket. I've got hundreds if not thousands of pictures on my account and I've only used 10% of my storage so I doubt you'd ever run out unless you're a pro.

I use Gyazo which is a screenshot tool/host at the same time, I think it's a lot more convenient than manually uploading photos somewhere.

You don't need to use tags at all, remember this changed months ago. (unless the site provides it)

Simply having the direct URL to the image is enough. With the URL click the photo icon in the tool bar and paste the code.

Using the picture icon in tool bar, paste the link and it will display the image.

I'd also recommend using TINYPIC it's free for hosting but photobucket (if you can get it to work) would be best. Photonbucket you can right click the photo and copy the image link/location if you're using FF or Chrome.
