Red Mk2 from North Hampshire

Featured Replies

Hello All,

My name is Andrew and after browsing around here alot I have signed up! Managed to pick up my mk2 for a bargain, looked really ruff but slowly getting it up to scratch (it also stank real bad). My first car back in the day was a red mk3, so when I saw the mk2 sat on the street I wanted it. It belonged to the father of the lady from work I did a lift share with. One day I heard they were going to scrap it so made an offer.

Was living in a flat with no parking at the time, had to convince the parents to have it on the drive for a bit. They have fallen in love it too so not a problem any more. Soon I will have a driveway of my own and looking forward to working on it. Got to get some more photo's to share, and will keep you all posted on how it goes, I am a noob when it come to working on cars but fairly handy. With the wealth of knowledge on here I am sure I will be find. Will do my best to search out answers before asking stupid questions...

Witness the ruffness and its journey to niceness...
