1993 mk2f CL in Burgundy for spares/repairs/project

Had this car two years, previously owned by my brother and maintained by my dad, who was a classic car enthusiast.

MOT expires in 2 days and I have nowhere to store the car so need rid ASAP. I will consider offers.

This car will need work to pass its MOT, but the body/interior is in good nick and I think a polo enthusiast would enjoy repairing the car or stripping it of its parts that are worth something.

I do not have time for this and now ride a motorbike, so have no further use for the car.

Bad points

- back wheel bearings both need replacing

- both front brake pipes need replacing

- fuel tank is leaking

- front left tyre needs replacing soon

GOOD POINTS

- bar the front brake pipes, the front end of this car is in good condition. I have maintained the oil/water levels and kept the car as clean as possible since I to ownership two years ago.

- the body of the car is in very good condition, one polo sized (the holey mint) ding in the passenger side door and only a few light scratches to the paint work, which would come out with some T-cut or even just a good polish

- the interior of the car is in good condition, no marks to back seats, passenger seat has marks, but they are just from water and there are no rips in the interior. Carpet has worn on drivers side, but I didn't notice this until I tidied my things out of it today.

- this 22 year old polo only has just under 89,000 miles on the clock.

I will be sad to see this car go as it has served me well this past two years, but I have no need for it with having the bikes and have no storage for it either.

Please note I am after a quick sale on this car, as it needs to be off the road by Thursday.
