@ bhp addict: As far as I know mate they were plastic welded. They've been done since last October, and they're in good shape still :-)

The outside ones? I can't trust people in car parks to get them smoothed.

I don't sorry mate! I got it from VAG Parts when they were still trading, I think I just asked for a 6n2 Polo estate rear wiper.
