Removing trim in boot

I've got a 2012 Match 1.2 and the boot courtesy light doesn't come on. I took out the light unit and found that the power cable is not connected. I think it has fallen inside the side trim. What I'd like to know - is it straight forward to remove the side trim to retrieve the wire?
