Hey I'm having trouble with a p0441 "Inccorect Purge Flow". The purge solenoid has been replaced to no avail. I was wondering if you could suggest what might be the next likely thing/how to diagnose?

Polo 9n 1.2 AZQ engine. Help identifying the Charcole/evaporative canister would be great also. As I've no idea where it is in my car.

Ok have you checked all the lines coming too and from the solenoid plus have you check your engine for air leaks

I'm going through similar problems with my own car, different fault code though. Before replacing any more parts I'd suggest reading up on the code and acquiring an understanding of what the computer is trying to tell you because something is obviously wrong.

No i haven't, A mechanic replaced the solenoid for me. Any tips on identifying the solenoids/charcole canister

Thanks. Check engine light came on reporting the code. No running problems as i can discern

Incorrect purge flow is the message I'm getting from the error code. From my research as i understand it could be the charcole/carbon canister, the lines, or the fuel filler cap. Any suggestions for testing these. How would i tell if the fuel cap is bad? Thanks for the reply.
