6n 1.6 8v - 71k - £400!

For sale is my M reg, 1.6 8v 6n.

I've had the car since April 2015, and have done 5000 miles with no issues. I am the 3rd keeper of this Polo, but it has been owned by the same family from new. An old dear owned and put very few miles on it until she passed away, which was then passed down in the family, then surplus to requirements.

It's always been a reliable runner however I have recently bought a new car so now selling the polo.

Good points:

• Mileage: 71,300 - Low milage for a car this old, Average of 3400 miles per year!
• Cambelt changed 20k ago (Cambelt snapped, so the whole head was reconditioned, with new valves etc.)
• Fully serviced @ 67,000 miles. (New air/pollen/fuel/oil filters, Oil, Spark Plugs)
• Has been very mechanically reliable
• Brakes good due to new front discs + Pads fitted 30/03/15 for MOT.
• Sills are perfect, fully solid!
• Uprated speakers all round. (Pioneers in doors, Edge in dashboard)

There's one or two bad points:

• The engine burns a bit of oil, I've tended to top it up every month/6 weeks.

• Patch of rust on bottom of driver's door, along with some lacquer that has peeled off.

• Bit of rust on bootlid below window.

• Few carpark dings/marks on the car, as expected really.
