Just bought a 96 harlequin for my son and me to sort. Been stood for 4 years but has done 120k over the time the first (last) last owner had it. Pretty sound but desperately needs an interior. My young son (learning to drive at moment) has a 93 polo fox coupe that we are just sorting!

We go to a lot of VAG shows (along with other general classics) and we have audis (there, I said it!)

Thanks for the welcome.

I am led to understand its one of the rarer colour order. We love it and intention is to keep it standard. The pics were just after it came off trailer and the water flatters.. When it dries it currently goes back to Matt!!

Good to hear it will be original, perhaps the paint could do with just a machine polish to get it right, good thing is you can look for second hand panels and the match doesn't need to be spot on as the colours don't meet anywhere

Are you going to start a progtess thread on this?

Hi

Yes, just got myself a polisher.. Did a small section on the n/s/f wing and bonnet area by hand just to see the result and paint comes up great.. Few little crusties around so will prob end up stripping and painting.. Just can't decide whether to do a quick fix and use it next year or get stuck in straight away. Don't have extra storage at moment if strip it so prob the quick fix route. Will do a thread on the progress. Just got another project on at the mo so will prob be nearer Christmas before get going!
