There are a few scratches, a bit of rust on the front wings. The central locking is currently not working, so I need to lock and unlock the doors individually, which is something I'll need to fix eventually.
And as I was taking the above pictures today the engine light (or the "Exhaust emissions warning lamp" according to the manual) came on, no change in performance (engine behaves as it did before), so I'll need to see about that, I currently don't have an OBD2 scanner, so I'll see about getting one and I know there is a proprietary scan tool (well, cable and software) called VAG-COM but I don't know what you can and can't do with a consumer OBD2 scanner.

But yea, really enjoy driving my Polo =)

I'm from Aberdeen, the place where, when you say you want to be a mechanic, people reply with "you should go offshore, it's more money."

But I can't swim so.

Cool, I'm in Peterhead so not far away.

We occasionally arrange Scottish meets usually in Dundee so you're more than welcome to come along when we organise the next one.

Alright, cool.

I would totally like to go to the next one.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard. It's good to see someone else from north of the border. Hope to see you at the next meet.

Hi, yea I'll be there if I can make it, I'll be keeping an eye on the local meets forum page (I'm assuming a thread will be made there for the next one).
